Attention HR staff: Learn about employment law hot topics during Feb. 27 webinar

Calling all HR professionals. Join Cornerstone Credit Union League’s webinar, “Employment Law Update—What’s Hot and What’s Not” on Feb. 27 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. CDT.

Natalie RougeuxEmployment law guru Natalie C. Rougeux, managing member and CEO, Rougeux & Associates PLLC, will discuss “hot topics” currently facing employers, including workplace accommodations, employee mental health issues, the moving landscape of legalized marijuana use, Department of Labor updates, and much more. At the close of the session, bring any employment law issues questions affecting your credit union for Rougeux’s 15-minute “Stump the Lawyer” segment.

Rougeux represents, advises, and trains employers and human resources professionals in different aspects of employment law, employment litigation and arbitration. She also goes before governmental agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor. She is board certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a certified Senior Professional of Human Resources. She holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence, a Master of Arts, and a Bachelor of Arts all from the University of Texas at Austin. 

The webinar is host by Cornerstone’s HR Council. The cost is $50 for HR Council members, and $75 for non-council members.
