Foundation Ambassadors 

What is a Foundation Ambassador?

The role of a Cornerstone Foundation Ambassador is to promote and support the Foundation’s goals, mission, and vision. Ultimately, an Ambassador will increase awareness of the Foundation’s value proposition and generate new support and passion for the overall credit union movement.

Ambassador responsibilities:

  • Create awareness
  • Share grant opportunities
  • Promote Foundation programs/events
  • Provide feedback of credit union needs and requests
  • Encourage Foundation support

 

How Ambassadors can help spread the word about the Foundation:

  • Ask for five minutes on your chapter meeting agenda or your credit union all-staff meeting
  • Share the monthly Ambassador report with staff and/or chapter officers
  • Follow the Foundation on all social media channels and share relevant posts with peers
  • View one or both of the Foundation videos during a staff or chapter meeting 
  • Invite staff members from the Foundation to speak at a Chapter Meeting or all-staff meeting 

 

 

Ambassadors will receive monthly updates via the Ambassador newsletter, an Ambassador Tool Kit, and bi-annual ZOOM calls, inclusive of information regarding grants programs and deadlines, as well as Foundation events and fundraising opportunities.
