  • CUNA 2020 Maxwell, Herring, Desjardins National Award winners announced

    The Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) National Awards Committee announced the 2020 recipients of the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award, the Louise Herring Philosophy-in-Action Member Service Award, and the Desjardins Awards for Financial Education. The awards, which are given in several credit union asset sizes, were selected among the winning entries at a league level.
  • Cornerstone announces new organizational structure

    To reflect the Cornerstone League’s strategic plan and long- and short-term goals, the organization is putting a new structure in place. Many of the changes are in anticipation of longtime EVP, Chief Financial Officer/Chief Administrative Officer Karen Hart’s retirement in April.
  • Pandemic dominates discussion at Oklahoma State CU board meeting

    The ongoing pandemic dominated much of the discussion at Tuesday’s quarterly meeting of the Oklahoma State Credit Union Board—specifically, operations of the Oklahoma Banking Department (OBD), the agency that regulates Oklahoma’s state-chartered credit unions.
  • Rebranding and the importance of listening to members

    Cornerstone Credit Union League recently rebranded its organization to Cornerstone League, dropping “credit union” from its name and modernizing the logo and website. The Cornerstone organization is made up of the League, Resources, and the Foundation.
