Awards & Recognition
Across our region, credit union professionals and volunteers are
solving problems, strengthening communities, and pushing our industry
forward. Honoring award winners is more than a celebration. It’s
inspiration and motivation to make our industry better. Help us
acknowledge these outstanding efforts and highlight those who strive for
financial well-being for all.
Individual award submissions are reviewed by the Cornerstone Awards & Recognition Committee, comprised of 10–15 of your peers representing all five states and various asset sizes.
Awards Deadlines
Hall of Fame, Professional of the Year, Small CU Achiever's Award, Volunteer of the Year and Chapter of the Year awards:

The Young Professional of the Year Award will be given out at the YP Conference in fall 2027. Deadline to nominate will be in spring/summer 2027.
Hall of Fame
Honoring those with a history of service to credit unions and a record of achievement throughout their career.
Professional of the Year Award
Recognizes accomplishments in support of the credit union movement by professionals.
Small Credit Union Achiever's Award
Recognizes accomplishments in support of the credit union movement by professionals at small credit unions.
Volunteer of the Year Award
Recognizes accomplishments in time and effort in support by credit union volunteers.
Young Professional of the Year Award
Recognizes young professionals who have demonstrated leadership and a passion for making a difference in the credit union movement.
Chapter of the Year Award
Recognizes chapters for their contributions to the success of the credit union movement in the Cornerstone region.
Pinnacle Awards
Recognizes credit union achievements and excellence in marketing and business development.
SMCS Alumni & Student Awards
Honors students and graduates of the Southwest Credit Union Management School school.
ImPACt Award
Recognizes credit union professionals who excel in their political action fundraising via the ImPACt Award.
Memorials
Honoring credit union leaders in the region who have passed away during the past 12 months.
