Councils and Communities
Cornerstone’s Councils and Communities connect leaders in the five-state region and beyond. Organized by credit union function, demographics, and asset size, councils and communities are places to share ideas, advice, and best practices.
These peer groups cover almost every aspect of credit union operations, from crunching numbers and improving operations to inspiring creativity and celebrating the heart of credit unions. There are also opportunities for CEOs, YPs, and leaders from credit unions within a specific asset size.
Join one (or more) and build a network of leaders who share your goal of advancing the credit union movement.
Council and community peer groups are available for all Cornerstone member credit union staff and volunteers. Join as many councils or communities as you wish, they are free! In the spirit of collaboration, we’ve partnered with Nebraska Credit Union League to enhance opportunities. Nebraska Credit Union League member credit unions are eligible to join any council through their League's website.
Council and communities are free for all Cornerstone credit union member staff and volunteers. As a dues-supported program, you can join any (or all) councils and communities to make the most of your dues dollars. Leaders responsible for multiple areas of the credit union will find value in multiple peer groups.
- Networking and collaboration: Connect with like-minded colleagues who are eager to share ideas, advice, and best practices.
- Access to Connect. Each peer group enjoys an online group where you can ask questions, spark discussions, or share your brilliant ideas.
