  1. How long have you been in the credit union industry?

I have been with the credit union industry for three years now.

My favorite thing about working at GECU is all the knowledge I’ve gained. There are opportunities to grow every day.

  3. Favorite movie that you can see over and over?

My favorite movie that I can watch over and over would be “Thor Ragnorak,” because it’s the first Thor movie that will give you an idea of what makes its titular hero worth rooting for.

  4. What is one thing that surprises most people about you?

I broke both of my arms at the same time, because I didn’t tie my shoe laces. Now I tie my shoe laces super tight where I know they will stay tied all day no matter what.

  5. If you could sit down and chat with any celebrity or public figure, who would it be and why?
If I could sit down and speak with Malala Yousafzai, I believe that would be an amazing experience. If you don’t know who she is, she was a Pakistani student who wrote an anonymous diary about her life was like while under the rule of the extremist group the Taliban. She wrote in her diary how she wanted education for women. She ended up getting shot by the Taliban soldiers and survived. She is a very empowering woman who continues to campaign for girls’ rights all over the world and also to inspire many generations.

My favorite book right now would be “The Four Winds.” The book has a powerful message about the strength and the resilience of women.

  7. Who is your role model and why?
My role model is Ruth Bader Ginsburg, because not only was she the second woman to sit as a justice on the nation’s highest court, but also a trailblazer for women’s rights. She wanted to take down sexist laws and policies. She did just that by launching a series of gender-discrimination cases. Six of those cases were brought to the Supreme Court and she won five.

  8. Any hidden talents?
My hidden talent is I love to write. I write my own poems and usually those who know me don’t even know that I do that for fun.

  9. What is your go to fast food restaurant?
My go-to fast food restaurant would have to be Weinerschnitzel. I am so obsessed with that place. If you have not been, go and try their bacon chili cheese ranch fries.

  10. If you could have any super power, what would it be? Why?
The superpower that I would want is to teleport. Do you know how many places I would go and see around the world in one day? I’d go to all the UNESCO sites all around the world.
