Botkin to retire from Texas Health Credit Union after 31 years as CEO

Tammy Botkin, chief executive officer of Texas Health Credit Union is retiring after 31 years at the helm and 43 years with the credit union. Her retirement date is March 31.

“It is with heartfelt emotions that I am retiring after 43 years with Texas Health Credit Union,” Botkin said. “I've decided it's time to embark on a new chapter in my life.”

Botkin added, “I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have worked for such an outstanding organization. I cherish the many relationships built over these years and am proud to have been associated with an industry that truly cares about people.”

When Botkin started as CEO in 1993, the credit union had just $14 million in assets, and today the assets are $135 million, a testament to her leadership and talented staff.

Botkin served on the Austin Chapter of Credit Unions Board of Directors and on the TCCUL PAC Board of Directors. She is also a graduate of CUNA Management School.

Replacing Botkin is Derrick Brown, formerly vice president of business development at Associated Credit Union of Texas.

 

Tinker FCU names Paul Krus new senior vice president

Tinker Federal Credit Union in Oklahoma City recently named Paul Krus as senior vice president/supervisory principal, TFCU Financial Advisors.

Krus will be managing the ongoing operational compliance, sales, and strategy of TFCU Financial Advisors and its investment and insurance planning services. Krus will champion the efforts of TFCU Financial Advisors to provide solid financial guidance to Tinker FCU members.

“Paul has a proven track record of developing talented financial advisors who help people plan their financial futures,” said Connie Wall, TFCU’s executive vice president/chief operations officer. “His genuine interest in the well-being of others is an ideal fit for the efforts of our team.”

Krus brings 33 years of wealth management experience in the financial services industry, marked by leadership roles at prominent institutions. Most recently, he served as the senior director/executive vice president at Arvest Bank/Arvest Wealth Management in Tulsa, Okla., where he led the expansion and development of the AWM Advisor Growth and Development Team. Krus has consistently demonstrated expertise in recruitment, training, business development, and relationship management across various markets.

“We are dedicated to enhancing the financial well-being of our members at TFCU,” Krus said. “By leveraging our expertise in investment, insurance, retirement, and financial planning, we aim to assist even more individuals in achieving their financial goals and aspirations.”

TruService Community FCU announces leadership promotions

TruService Community Federal Credit Union has announced the promotions of Tiffany Greenway to vice president of operations, Gary Diffee to director of lending, and Trish Pryor to branch manager of North Little Rock. These promotions reflect the credit union's commitment to cultivating talent, fostering a strong leadership team, and providing exceptional service to the credit union’s members and the community.

Greenway's promotion acknowledges her dedication to operational excellence. As vice president of operations, she will oversee daily operations and implement strategies to enhance member experience. Greenway has been with TruService for 14 years. She managed the consumer and mortgage lending departments for seven years and branch operations for four years, and she worked in accounting/electronic funds for three years.

Gary Diffee
Diffee's promotion recognizes his contribution to delivering personalized financial solutions. As director of lending, he will lead the lending operations and develop new programs to meet member needs. Diffee has 20 years of lending experience and has been with TruService for over a year.

Trish Pryor
Pryor's elevation to North Little Rock branch manager highlights her leadership and commitment to member engagement. She will lead the branch in delivering personalized financial solutions and furthering TruService’s mission. Pryor has been with TruService for over eight years and brings over 17 years of credit union experience in lending and member service.
