Select Cornerstone annual awards now open

You still have time to submit your entries for Cornerstone’s select annual awards. These awards recognize exceptional individuals within the credit union community who have demonstrated outstanding commitment, innovation, and leadership.  

Awards open for nominations:  

• Hall of Fame: The Hall of Fame honors individuals whose lifelong dedication and contributions have significantly impacted the credit union movement. It's a celebration of those who have inspired excellence and made a lasting mark on our industry.  
  

• Professional of the Year: This award recognizes an outstanding professional who has made notable contributions in time and effort to support and promote the credit union movement.

• Small Credit Union Achiever: This award highlights small credit union leaders who have shown remarkable dedication to serving credit unions under $100 million in assets. It's an opportunity to nominate those making significant strides.  
  

• Volunteer of the Year: This award honors a volunteer who has shown incredible dedication, time, and support of the credit union movement. Reimagined for 2024, the Volunteer of the Year is open to any volunteer serving at a Cornerstone-member credit union.

Pinnacle Awards and Chapter of the Year Awards also open 

The Pinnacle Awards, presented by Cornerstone's Marketing and Business Development Council, honor your credit unions and staff for their special skills, innovation, time, and resources that contribute to successful marketing campaigns. With over 20 categories, the Pinnacle Awards provide various opportunities for credit unions to bring home some shiny new hardware. The Pinnacle Awards submission period is from Dec. 4, 2023 – Feb. 2, 2024. 

Chapters are also encouraged to submit their entries for the Chapter of the Year. These awards recognize regional chapters for their contributions to political and regulatory advocacy, community involvement/system support, and professional development in the credit union movement. The deadline for submitting nominations for Chapter awards is March 1, 2024.   

Winners for all awards will be announced at IMPACT 2024: Cornerstone Annual Meeting, April 3–5 in Kansas City, Mo.
