Foundation Impact Report tells story in numbers

From year to year, it can be hard to remember all the good work that the Cornerstone Foundation makes possible, along with the support of our members. That’s why it’s a good thing that we have our Foundation Impact Report to remind us of the financial capability programs for youth and adults, access to professional development, and financial relief available when disasters strike.

In 2021, the Foundation:

• raised $1,245,847
• provided 162 grants totaling $397,097
• provided $8.2 million in CIF investments in communities throughout the region with funding from 28 CU investors
• trained 556 Financial Capability Network members and 47 Certified CU Financial Counselors

The Foundation also assisted credit unions, their employees, and their members through its Pandemic Response Strategy, which provided $260,700 in disaster relief in 35 member communities.
