Austin-based A+ Federal Credit Union, with $2.2 billion in assets, announced Brandon McGee will be joining the credit union as its first chief digital strategy officer.
"We already have a solid digital banking foundation
to support our members' needs, but we know now is the best time to evolve the
A+FCU digital experience," said President/CEO Eric R. Kase. "Having a
dedicated executive to focus on all things digital is something we're excited
about. Brandon brings a wealth of relevant experience and is going to be a
tremendous asset to the credit union as part of our leadership
team."
McGee has over 20 years of experience
in the financial industry and comes to A+FCU from Fiserv, where he was vice
president of product management for digital banking. He's also held leadership
roles outside of the financial industry at Dell and Facebook and has previously
worked at Industrial Federal Credit Union, National City Bank, and Huntington
Bank.
"The growth, success, and
opportunities at A+FCU are phenomenal, and I'm thrilled to join the team,"
McGee said. "They've built a high-performing credit union upon a
foundation of member service and talented, authentic people. I look forward to
serving our members, and the community by working to develop a set of truly
world-class digital solutions."
McGee holds an MBA in business/marketing from Butler University and a Bachelor of Science in business/marketing from Purdue University.
