Registration open for Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma advocacy events

The best way to build relationships with your legislators and to teach them what credit unions are all about is through direct political engagement. That's exactly what Cornerstone League’s 2024 advocacy events are designed to do and why you won’t want to miss one minute of the event in your state.

The legislatures in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma will be in session, so it’s the perfect time to make an impact. You can look forward to:

  • Receiving a comprehensive legislative briefing.
  • Gaining awareness of the advocacy matters affecting your credit union.
  • Taking part in lawmaker meetings to discuss priorities and foster relationships.
  • Educating newly elected officials on the credit union difference.
  • Ensuring policymakers understand how their bills affect credit unions and your member constituents.
  • Enjoying a special meal with your colleagues.

Choose the event for your state:

CU at the Capitol: Missouri

How often do you get a chance to meet with your lawmaker one-on-one? Join us for a rare opportunity to engage in person with elected officials, sit in on a committee hearing (as available), and enjoy lunch, complete with an insightful grassroots update.

CU at the Capitol attendees will meet at the Credit Union House near the Capitol building for a briefing on credit union priorities and talking points at 9 a.m., then travel to the Capitol building for pre-set appointments and related meetings. You’ll return to the Credit Union House for lunch and a debriefing, and the event should conclude by 1 p.m.
