Luann Schmiedel elected to fill League director vacancy

Oklahoma’s CU President/CEO Luann Schmiedel has been elected to fill the vacancy on the Cornerstone League Board of Directors, Asset Category 3 position, effective immediately.

Schmiedel’s term runs through April 2024, at which time election results for new directors in four asset categories will be determined; directors will be seated for 3-year terms.

“We are pleased to have Luann Schmiedel fill the board vacancy and congratulate her on her new interim role,” said Cornerstone President/CEO Caroline Willard. “She will bring a wealth of expertise and experience to the position.”

Schmiedel replaces Jessie Swendig, formerly with Neighborhood Credit Union.
