TFCU names Chih Wei Chen as branch manager at Choctaw Branch

Tinker Federal Credit Union has named Chih Wei Chen assistant vice president and branch manager at its Choctaw branch. 

As a branch manager, Chen oversees member experiences and mentors his team to ensure TFCU meets its members’ financial needs. He also participates in local events on behalf of TFCU to build and strengthen community bonds.

Chen has been with the credit union for 12 years and began his career as a teller. He was promoted to member service officer and then lobby supervisor at the Edmond East branch, a role he held for four years.

Chen holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Oklahoma and is a 2015 graduate of the Southwest CUNA Management School. He also completed TFCU’s LEAD program, which trains and prepares TFCU employees for leadership roles.

“I’m grateful for this opportunity the credit union has given me,” said Chen. “I’m excited about my new position and look forward to helping the Choctaw branch grow.”
