Empowering Credit Union Teams to Thrive—Financially and Professionally

Journey to Financial Wellness is a thoughtfully designed resource created by the Cornerstone Foundation’s Financial Wellness Task Force to support credit union employees—and by extension, their members—on the path to financial confidence and capability.

This comprehensive workbook covers essential financial topics, including budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, retirement planning, and goal setting. Whether used internally with staff or shared externally with members, it’s a flexible tool that meets people where they are in their financial journey.
 

Why It Matters

Financially confident employees are better equipped to serve others.  Research shows that when staff feel secure in their own financial lives, they experience less stress, greater engagement, and stronger connections with the members they support. By fostering a culture of financial wellness, credit unions can build more resilient, productive, and loyal teams.
