Cornerstone Foundation

Credit Union Development

We want credit unions and credit union employees to succeed. That's why the Foundation supports grants for continuous education for employees and volunteers in the credit union movement and hosts a DE Society. The Foundation also offers credit unions creative opportunities to expand membership and support their local community through Friends of the Foundation and Donor Advised Funds. Consider the Foundation an extra boost for your credit union's dreams. Explore our development opportunities below or reach out to learn more.

Grants

The Foundation offers grants and scholarships for Professional Development, SCMS, Community Development, Chapters, and Disaster Relief.

Principles & Philosophy Workshop

At this insightful, eye-opening workshop, learn how to put credit union foundational concepts to work in everyday operations, helping you to better meet the needs of your members while solidifying the unique role of financial cooperatives in the market.

Cornerstone DE Society

The CSCUDE Society fosters engagement among anyone who has successfully earned the Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation in the Cornerstone Region.

Donor Advised Funds

A Cornerstone Foundation Donor Advised Fund may help your credit union navigate the complex legal and accounting requirements as you start up a charitable organization.

Location

Kansas City, MO

You’re invited to join us for a very special Cornerstone League CEO Luncheon on June 9 in Kansas City — and this one will be unlike any we’ve done before.

Hospital Tour

Before our luncheon begins, we have been given the incredible opportunity to tour the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital (3901 Rainbow Blvd. Kansas City, KS) beginning at 10:00 a.m. This special experience is being offered in connection with our upcoming Bourbon, BBQ & Bands event this November at The Midland Theater, benefiting CMN.

Please let me know if you plan to attend this tour in a separate email to Daylene.

You’ll hear stories, see the impact firsthand, and walk away inspired by the difference credit unions collectively make in the lives of children and families throughout our communities.

CEO Lunch

Following the tour, we’ll head to Public Safety Credit Union (just 12 short minutes away at 2800 E 14th St. Kansas City, MO) for lunch, league updates, conversation, and roundtable discussion with fellow CEOs from the area.

As always, expect:
  • Great conversation and networking
  • Lunch with peers and partners
  • Brief league and industry updates
  • Time for collaborative discussion and idea sharing
  • A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere

RSVP to the luncheon also by emailing Daylene.
