Meet Your Cornerstone YP Advisors for 2026–2027

The Cornerstone League has named 13 credit union professionals to serve a two-year term as Young Professional Advisors for 2026–2027.

Dedicated to collaboration, innovation, and connection, these emerging leaders will help guide the Cornerstone YP Program by supporting engagement opportunities, promoting advocacy, and inspiring the next generation of credit union professionals. Together, they will foster a sense of belonging, strengthen professional networks, and champion the cooperative spirit that defines the credit union movement.

The 2026–2027 YP Advisors are:

  • Tiffany Benavides, supervisor for virtual member services, Fort Worth City Credit Union
  • Yessenia Fuentes, project manager II, Community Resource Credit Union
  • Devon Fuller, branch supervisor, Tinker Federal Credit Union
  • Daniela Garcia, compliance specialist, South Texas Federal Credit Union
  • Amber Hicks, indirect lending manager, Gulf Credit Union
  • Nermina Ibisevic, branch manager, First Missouri Credit Union
  • Mario Lizardo, advocacy and program coordinator, GECU Federal Credit Union
  • Lauren McKay, back office specialist, UP Federal Credit Union
  • Josh Nicolet, branch manager, Texans Credit Union
  • Omar Ramirez, director of marketing and business development, First Central Credit Union
  • Cole Thomas, loan officer, Farmway Credit Union
  • Tamber Tyson, member service representative, Energy One Federal Credit Union
  • Joe Wilmot, trainer, CoastLife Credit Union

The new YP Advisors will begin their term following a transition meeting with their predecessors later this year.
