Deadline July 31: YPs, apply now for Gary D. Parker scholarship to Southwest Lending & Collections Conference
One deserving YP attendee at the upcoming Southwest Lending and Collections Conference will get a nice surprise: a scholarship covering their costs of attending.
Cornerstone’s Lending and Collections Council is offering YP attendees at the upcoming Southwest Lending and Collections Conference the opportunity to apply for the new Gary D. Parker Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship covers the conference registration fee and three nights at the hotel.
But don’t wait to apply. The deadline for submitting your application is July 31.
The legacy scholarship honors Gary Parker’s decades of work for the benefit of credit unions. Parker was a founding member of the Lending and Collections Council Executive Committee. Last year, the mentor to many young credit union professionals retired after 18 years of service on the Lending and Collections Council.
Applicants must be 40 or younger and employees of a Cornerstone-affiliated credit union in Arkansas, Oklahoma, or Texas. The Cornerstone Lending and Collections Executive Committee will review all scholarship applications and select one recipient.
