WOCCU presents the ICU Day 2022 EMPOWER Webinar
The theme for International Credit Union Day 2022 is "Empower Your Financial Future with a Credit Union." To celebrate ICU Day on Thursday, Oct. 20, World Council of Credit Unions is hosting a virtual event featuring panelists from credit unions around the world, including Cornerstone League member Sean Cahill, president/CEO of True Sky Credit Union.
The panelists will discuss different ways they have empowered the financial futures of their members and employees. We’ll hear stories of empowerment from Ireland, Ukraine, and Peru—along with a description of how Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions is joining forces with True Sky Credit Union from the United States to raise U.S. $500,000 as part of its “EMPOWER” campaign to further credit union member empowerment moving forward.

International Credit Union Day
Cornerstone League joins the World Council of Credit Unions to celebrate International Credit Union Day on the third Thursday of October every year. This year, ICU Day is Thursday, Oct. 16, and the theme is Cooperation for a Prosperous World. ICU Day celebrates the spirit of the global credit union movement. We raise awareness on ICU Day to promote the movement’s achievements, share member experiences, and give members the opportunity to get more engaged.
