Outreach programs are unique opportunities to connect with the community by improving the quality of life in each neighborhood. Networking programs promote collaboration among credit unions because the entire movement benefits when we share ideas and knowledge.

Texas Trust Credit Union Awards $10K to Paul Quinn College
Texas Trust Credit Union is partnering with Paul Quinn College, America’s first Urban Work College, to create a memorial scholarship fund in honor of Miriam Johnson. The scholarship will provide $10,000 in scholarships to the college annually. -
Texas Trust CU Helps Keep DeSoto Clean
The Community Unity team at Texas Trust Credit Union recently joined the “Keep DeSoto Clean” event, a community-driven event comprising Dallas-Fort Worth area residents, leaders, and businesses to work together clean trash from the streets of DeSoto, Texas. -
Cornerstone Foundation Approves $251K in Grants
The Cornerstone Foundation’s Grants Committee has approved $251,603 in grant funds to support credit unions and chapters in their community outreach endeavors, financial capability initiatives, credit union development, and professional staff and volunteer development. -

Apply Now for NCUA Streamlined CDFI Certification
Any low-income designated credit union that is not already certified as a Community Development Financial Institution may apply for certification by April 3, 2021.
