Emily Moreno currently serves as the program director, previously the grants manager, of the Cornerstone Foundation. Emily oversees the grants and scholarships, financial wellness partners and resources, donor advised funds, and disaster relief efforts. She is continuously building and maintaining relationships with credit unions while connecting them to resources that can empower Cornerstone credit unions to impact their communities.

Prior to the Foundation, Emily served as the credit union relations administrative assistant for the Cornerstone Credit Union League. Over her seventeen-year Cornerstone career, she has worked closely with the Cornerstone councils, committees, YP advisors, and the board of directors and foundation trustees.

Emily became a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) through America’s Credit Unions FiCEP program in 2016, and she earned her Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation in Spring 2017. The Cornerstone League named Moreno its 2017 “Employee of the Year”. Emily is committed to serving others and sharing her own passions through her work with the Foundation.
