With the ultimate goal to connect credit unions with each other, Cornerstone League leads and supports various outreach and networking programs. Outreach programs are unique opportunities to connect with the community by improving the quality of life in each neighborhood. Networking programs promote collaboration among credit unions because the entire movement benefits when we share ideas and knowledge.

American Airlines FCU Awards 2021 Scholarships to 11 Students
For more than a decade, Fort Worth-based American Airlines Federal Credit Union has been proud to invest in the futures of its young member-owners by providing scholarship awards toward higher education. This year, out of hundreds of initial applicants, the credit union awarded 11 scholarships of $4,000 each to six high school students and five college students. -
Lending and Collections Council Seeks Members and Volunteers
The Cornerstone League’s Lending and Collections Council is seeking members to serve on its executive committee. This volunteer position will help plan and provide training opportunities, webinars, roundtables, conferences, and award programs that bring the council members together throughout the year. -

Amarillo Chapter Raises $48,667 for CMN and CU4Kids
The Amarillo Area Chapter of Credit Unions held its annual golf tournament July 19 at the Tascosa Golf Club in Amarillo and raised more than $48,667 for the Children’s Miracle Network and Credit Unions for Kids. -
