The credit union movement is celebrating a major advocacy win this week as the shutdown-related reductions in force at the CDFI Fund have officially been reversed.

The federal government has officially reopened after a historic 43-day shutdown, restoring paychecks and offering relief to hundreds of thousands of workers—including many credit union members.

The Cornerstone Foundation welcomes two new Advisory Trustees to represent Friends of the Foundation: Kent Lugrand of InTouch Credit Union and Kris Keller of Multipli Credit Union.

Ten Oklahoma credit unions united for CU in the Community, partnering with Rebuilding Together OKC to repair a senior veteran’s home and demonstrate the credit union spirit of “people helping people.”

Credit unions are strengthening employee engagement and leadership development through internal young professional programs that build community, mentorship, and a deeper connection to the credit union movement.
