The National Credit Union Administration board unanimously approved an extension of the comment period for the Digital Asset Request for Information from Sept. 27 until Oct. 27, 2021.

Texas Federal Credit Union of Dallas intends to merge with Arlington-based Texas Trust Credit Union. The merger plans have been approved by the National Credit Union Administration, the Texas Credit Union Department, and the members of Texas Federal Credit Union.

David Pickney, chief financial officer of Arlington-based Texas Trust Credit Union, plans to retire this year, bringing an end to his distinguished career at the credit union.
