of credit unions that belong to Cornerstone League.
ALM Essentials
As a credit union volunteer, there are a number of priorities to monitor and keep up with. This session explains the fundamentals of asset/liability management, its four goals, and how they are interconnected. It will also provide an overview of NCUA's supervisory framework, known as "CAMELS," and review the ratios associated with Capital, Asset Quality, and Earnings. By monitoring these ratios over time, you can assess whether the decisions being made are strengthening the credit union and providing value to members.
