Inside Cornerstone

On Nov. 29, U.S. Rep. Brian Babin (R-Port Arthur, 36th congressional district) visited with Sabine Credit Union’s board members and the management team, including Jon Barnette, Sandra Bickham, Bill Bradley, Kristi Charrier, Cody Cupit, Kenita Dougharty, Charlotte Foreman, Chelsea Fountain, TW Permenter, and Kristen Placette.

Texas Trust Credit Union officially opened the doors of its newest branch at Fish Creek Preserve at South Carrier Parkway and I-20 in Grand Prairie.

Cornerstone League is now accepting nominations for our highest awards: the Hall of Fame, Professional of the Year, and Small Credit Union Achiever of the Year. Get your nominations in before Feb. 11! We are excited to recognize your “best of the best.”

It’s that time of year when we get super excited about credit union people. Why? Because Cornerstone League is big on honoring the “best of the best” with our highest awards, and we are eager to know who among our members will be nominated this year.

Forty-four credit union leaders from across the United States, including two Cornerstone League members from Texas, were designated as Credit Union Development Educators after completing the National Credit Union Foundation’s Credit Union Development Education (DE) training.
