Cornerstone League congratulates Tinker Federal Credit Union who has won the Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award, the Desjardins Youth Financial Education Award, and the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service awards for the region.

After serving for 18 years on the Lending and Collections Council Executive Committee, Gary Parker is stepping down. But the committee, which steers the Southwest Lending and Collections Conference, wasn’t going to let Parker go without honoring his legacy in credit unions and on the council.

Oklahoma credit unions have come together to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation in Oklahoma City and the Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis in Tulsa. Credit Unions for Kids – Oklahoma has been making yearly donations to the hospital since 1997 that has amounted $4 million.

Oct. 8, Greater Texas Credit Union held a grand opening celebration for its new free-standing, full-service branch at 242 N. Guadalupe Street in downtown San Marcos.
