Missouri Credit Unions Connect with U.S. Representative Jason Smith
On Tuesday, Aug. 5, local leaders hosted U.S. Representative and House Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith for a fundraiser and conversation about community priorities at an event in Cape Girardeau. Missouri Credit Union Association Executive Director Raymond Bozarth introduced Chairman Smith to Century Credit Union President/CEO Josh Wallace.
Wallace shared how Century Credit Union supported families when Mag 7 Metals announced 400 layoffs at its Marston plant; dispatching staff directly to the site to help affected workers review budgets, set up payment plans, and navigate immediate financial needs.
