Education CU donates 51K in grants to area schools
Education Credit Union (ECU), based in Amarillo, Texas, recently awarded $51,000 in Pocket Change Grants to area schools, giving up to $500 per teacher to help provide much-needed items for their classrooms. -

At the end of the year, the credit union promoted a “Kick 2020 to the Curb” campaign, giving away SWAG bags full of credit union goodies and Cooking with Cornerstone cookbooks. -
SBA approves 60K PPP loan applications during the first week
The U.S. Small Business Administration approved approximately 60,000 Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan applications submitted by nearly 3,000 lenders, for more than $5 billion, between Jan. 11 and Jan. 17.
