Cornerstone League member A+ Federal Credit Union recently earned the title “Best of the Best in Customer Service” in the Austin-American Statesman’s 2022 Best of the Best Awards.

When it comes to increasing efficiency and improving the overall member experience, WEOKIE FCU is setting an example for other credit unions nationwide.

Cornerstone League CEOs received an invitation on Oct. 3 to attend a special member meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for members to vote on the proposed Plan of Merger and proposed amendments to the Cornerstone bylaws.

This week, more than 50 Cornerstone-member credit union leaders and advocates spoke with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Rohit Chopra. Discussion topics included auto loans, overdraft protection programs, rulemaking, and ways to engage with the CFPB.

Last week, Cornerstone League President/CEO Caroline Willard and her credit union industry companions climbed Tanzania’s Mount Kilimanjaro, the African continent’s highest peak at 19,340 feet above sea level.
