Red River CU to collaborate on award-winning series Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid

Red River Credit Union has partnered with Viewpoint, the specialized short-form public television series featuring Dennis Quaid.

The Viewpoint story highlighting RRCU began airing in March, reaching over 170 participating public television stations across the credit union’s service area for the duration of the year. RRCU serves communities across Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Oklahoma.

The segment comprises an insightful interview with RRCU CEO Brad Bailey, with additional interviews featuring Board Chair Fred Milton and Branch Manager Wendy Rojas who elaborates on RRCU’s TEAL focus: Team, Excellence, Authenticity, and Leading Innovation.

During the segment, viewers gain insight into RRCU’s unwavering commitment to pioneering technological advancements for its members, ensuring exceptional services, and delivering the products and services synonymous with a large bank while maintaining a personalized, down-home touch.

Greater Texas | Aggieland CU earns Diamond Awards amid record-breaking competition

Greater Texas Credit Union, 2024 Diamond Awards winners

Austin-based Greater Texas | Aggieland Credit Union received three Diamond Awards from America’s Credit Unions Marketing & Business Development Council’s annual marketing excellence competition. The awards recognized:

  • Greater Texas’ Little Lockers with a “category best” honor for its ongoing campaign to provide books and reading materials to elementary students within Manor ISD.
  • Creative assets for Greater Texas | Aggieland’s GuidePoint internal knowledge-based learning platform.
  • The Aggieland Credit Union subsidiary for its Angler’s TV commercial, which generated nearly 2,700 new checking accounts.

The $1 billion credit union’s campaigns were judged against a record 1,451 entries from 168 credit union organizations across the country.

“These awards highlight the achievements of a team that continually strives to excel in everything it creates,” said Sidney Henderson, vice president of marketing. “Every campaign we generate is an opportunity to make a difference for our employees, members, and the community.”
