What do 900 leaders from 350 CUs have in common? They’re Cornerstone Council members
Have you heard? Cornerstone Councils are now free for affiliated credit unions.
More than 900 of your peers from 350 credit unions are Cornerstone Council members. It’s like having your own personal think tank! Cornerstone Councils connect credit union professionals and volunteers with other leaders in 10 specific areas:
- Accounting & Finance
- Compliance & Audit
- Diversity & Belonging
- Human Resources & Training
- Lending & Collections
- Marketing & Business Development
- Member Business Services
- Payments & Operations
- Technology
- Volunteers
Join one council (or join them all) to make new connections, share ideas and resources, and learn from others in your same field or situation.
Council membership benefits
In addition to the value of having a network of peers ready to help, council members enjoy:
- Access to an online community exclusively for council members
- Invitations to council-only webinars and calls
- Discounts to some conferences and events
- Leadership opportunities. Each council is led by a volunteer group of leaders who provide insight into topics relevant to their specific council.
Cornerstone Councils even extend outside the five-state region. Our Member Business Services Council is a collaboration between Cornerstone and the Louisiana League, and all 10 of our councils are available for Nebraska credit unions. Both of these league partnerships were in place before the Cornerstone-HCUA merger.
