Tigers Community CU hosts ribbon cutting for Westbury Village branch

Tigers Community Credit Union held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 19 for its new Westbury Village branch at 4401 Smith Drive in Columbia, Mo.

Senior leadership and staff attended the event, along with Columbia business leaders and members from the Columbia Chamber of Commerce. Branch Manager Miranda Young cut a ribbon made of $20 bills totaling $300, which was then donated to Show Me Central Habitat for Humanity.

“We are excited to expand our footprint in the vibrant Westbury Village community, “said Jason Peach, president/CEO. “There’s so much happening on this side of town, and we are happy to be a part of it and grow with the area.”

The branch provides full-service banking solutions, including a mortgage team, and offers state-of-the-art banking technology. Grand opening celebrations are planned for summer 2023.

TTCU celebrates OKC branch grand opening

TTCU Federal Credit Union, a $2.6 billion credit union serving more than 145,000 members, celebrated the grand opening of its third branch in the Oklahoma City area with a ribbon cutting and celebration.

“The Crown Heights area is seeing strong residential growth, plus it has a convenient entrance off of Western,” said President/CEO Tim Lyons. “This branch will be able to introduce TTCU’s modern and friendly environment to a whole new area of Oklahoma City.”

The 3,300-square-foot branch is filled with warmth from the use of wood, natural light from windows, and large glass office doors. The design provides a welcoming and seamless experience for members. It also brings the latest in technological innovation through ITMs that allow members to easily complete transactions in the drive-thru. The energy-efficient branch was designed by Cyntergy and constructed by Cowen Construction.

Chief Branching Officer Liz Stidham said the design allows for “space to sit and relax with a book and coffee plus free Wi-Fi. It will also have outdoor seating for those beautiful sunny days.”
