Resource One CU adds risk management team

Resource One Credit Union has added a Risk Management Department, which will work to enhance safety for external and internal factors that could create risks for the credit union and its 65,000 members.

Considering the overall growth of the credit union and economic volatility, the new department’s role will include overseeing collections, internal audit, compliance and BSA, fraud, business continuity planning, vendor management, and quality control to ensure the credit union operates within the risk appetite the board has set.

The new risk management team includes Daniela Parker, chief risk officer; Kristin Wickie, director of operational risk management; and Zoe French, BSA compliance officer.
