A Message From the Executive Director
The end of the year often brings a unique mix of financial decisions. Holiday gifts and spending, January bills, recurring subscriptions, and even the paperwork we have accumulated throughout the year can all compete for our attention—and our budgets.
In this issue, we’re focusing on practical ways to approach those everyday decisions with greater intention. You’ll find ideas for putting holiday cash and gift cards to work, preparing for expenses that arrive after the holidays, evaluating whether credit card rewards are truly providing value, organizing financial records, and identifying recurring charges you may have forgotten about.
Financial wellness is not about making every decision perfectly. It is about having the information, tools, and confidence to make choices that support your goals. That is at the heart of the Cornerstone Foundation’s work, and we are grateful to our Friends and supporters who help us expand access to financial education and resources throughout the Cornerstone region.
I also want to remind our Friends of the Foundation to join us for our Annual Meeting on Oct. 21. It’s an opportunity to connect, hear updates on the foundation’s work, and look ahead to the ways we can continue making an impact together.
Thank you for being a friend (of the Foundation),
