A Message From the Executive Director
With your continued support, the Cornerstone Foundation and our credit union partners were able to respond to real needs in real time—expanding access to financial education, strengthening community programs, and helping individuals and families move forward with greater confidence.
This issue of Friends of the Foundation focuses on practical, timely ways to support financial well-being as one year ends and another begins. From navigating seasonal expenses and avoiding scams to rebuilding goals after a challenging year, these resources are designed to meet people where they are and offer clarity during a busy, often stressful season.
I’m also pleased to share that, at our Friends annual meeting in October, Kent Lugrand, CEO of InTouch Credit Union, and Kris Keller, vice president of market development, Multipli Credit Union, were elected to serve as Cornerstone Foundation Advisory Trustees, representing Friends of the Foundation. We’re grateful for their willingness to volunteer their time and expertise in service of the Foundation’s mission, and we look forward to the perspective and leadership they will bring to this role.
Looking ahead, our work remains grounded in the belief that lasting impact comes from steady partnership. In the coming year, we’ll continue advancing initiatives that help credit unions deliver meaningful support—through grants, scholarships, financial wellness tools, and opportunities for engagement. We’re grateful for your role in this work and for the trust you place in the Foundation to steward it responsibly.
Thank you for being part of this community and for helping carry the credit union philosophy forward. Your support ensures that as we enter 2026, we do so with purpose, momentum, and a shared commitment to financial well-being for all.
Thank you for being a friend (of the Foundation),
