Get Festive and Give Back Through Festival of Trees
Calling all young professionals!
The holidays are a great time to celebrate and make an impact. Cornerstone encourages YPs, chapters, and all credit union members to adopt the Festival of Trees as their signature event this year. Benefitting the Cornerstone Foundation, the Festival of Trees’ original goal was to auction off fully decorated trees. Over the years and across chapters, this long-standing fundraiser has been revised to accommodate whatever works for you. You may support the Festival of Trees initiative in any of the following ways:
- Sell holiday wreaths by auction
- Sell a Christmas tree by auction
- Sell Santa bags at your November or December chapter meeting
New this year: Not sure where to start? Use the following toolkit as a framework and adapt this event to fit your unique audience...whether your event is in person or virtual.
We understand that even with resources like toolkits, it might not be possible to host an event this year. We get it! If you’re feeling stretched for time but would still like to participate, you may donate directly to the Cornerstone Foundation by texting “YPGiveBack” to 44-321.
