SCMS Graduates Step Into Expanded Leadership Roles

Leadership development delivers its greatest value when learning moves beyond the classroom and into the credit union. Two Southwest Credit Union Management School graduates are doing exactly that as they step into expanded leadership roles at Volt Credit Union and InTouch Credit Union.

From SCMS to Executive Leadership

Volt Credit Union is celebrating Shana Jahnke’s graduation from the SCMS Class of 2026 and her promotion to executive vice president/chief operations officer. Jahnke completed SCMS’ three-year leadership curriculum focused on strategic leadership, innovation, and organizational excellence.

In her expanded role, Jahnke will continue overseeing operational strategy while helping advance Volt’s mission to serve members and strengthen its community. Volt credited her commitment to operational excellence, member service, collaboration, and innovation as key elements of her leadership.

Developing Leaders Across the Movement

InTouch Credit Union is also recognizing an SCMS graduate with increased responsibility. Amy Meska has been promoted to vice president of electronic data processing, advancing from her previous assistant vice president role.
