Cornerstone League recognizes member credit unions for their growth and community endeavors to exemplify the “people helping people” philosophy.

Neighborhood Credit Union Honors Five North Texas Nonprofits

Neighborhood Credit Union celebrated organizations serving children, families, and individuals across North Texas during its annual Day of Giving at the credit union’s Kaufman branch.

The credit union presented $1,000 donations to five nonprofits: The Center in Kaufman, Norville Children’s Shelter, Genesis Center North Texas, the National Kidney Foundation, and Sharing The Love Foundation. Their work spans essential human services, emergency care for children, long-term support for women, kidney health, and youth mentorship.

Representatives from the nonprofits joined local leaders, community partners, and Neighborhood Credit Union employees for a check presentation recognizing the organizations’ impact. The event reflects the credit union’s broader commitment to strengthening communities through charitable giving, volunteerism, financial education, and local partnerships.
