Cornerstone Foundation Welcomes Two New Trustees
The Cornerstone Foundation board elected two new trustees last month, adding experienced credit union leaders who bring a strong commitment to service, community impact, and the cooperative mission.
Joining the Foundation board are Kenny Harrington, president/CEO of MemberSource Credit Union in Houston, and Janice Bennett, chief financial officer of Neighbors Credit Union.
Kenny Harrington

Harrington brings decades of credit union and league experience to the role. In addition to his leadership at MemberSource, he has served the movement through a number of volunteer leadership roles, including past service on the Cornerstone Foundation board and the Cornerstone League Board of Directors, where he also served as chairman. His long history of engagement reflects a deep investment in strengthening credit unions and the communities they serve.
Janice Bennett

Bennett also brings a strong background in leadership and service. She oversees finance, accounting, risk management, and facilities at Neighbors Credit Union, and her credit union career spans more than 30 years. She also serves as treasurer of the St. Louis Chapter of Credit Unions and remains active in community service efforts in Missouri.
Together, Harrington and Bennett add valuable perspective to the Foundation’s work as it continues supporting credit union development, financial wellness, and disaster relief across the Cornerstone region.
Cornerstone Foundation appreciates their willingness to serve and looks forward to the insight and leadership they will bring to the board.
