For Ryan Prillman, volunteer leadership is grounded in service, trust, and a deep belief in the credit union mission.
As vice chairman of the board at PrimeWay Federal Credit Union, Prillman is recognized for his thoughtful oversight, commitment to transparency, and ability to guide complex decisions with clarity and purpose.
“Ryan has provided steady, thoughtful, and principled leadership in areas essential to the strength of a credit union,” shared T.W. Jolly, PrimeWay FCU executive vice president and chief operating officer. “His experience leading the Supervisory Committee has strengthened his board-level contributions and helped reinforce a culture of transparency, accountability, and member trust.”
At PrimeWay, he plays a key role in supporting board leadership continuity and facilitating effective governance discussions, drawing on his experience in fiduciary oversight, risk management, and regulatory compliance. His leadership reflects both technical expertise and a genuine dedication to the long-term success of the credit union and its members.
In 2025, he further strengthened his impact by earning his Certified Credit Union Board Member designation, underscoring his commitment to serving with excellence.
Beyond the boardroom, Prillman is deeply engaged in his community. He has helped organize and volunteer for Houston-area food and toy drives, partnering with local credit unions to deliver support to families in need. He also strengthens community connections through outreach events and partnerships, demonstrating the cooperative spirit of credit unions.
His service extends to advocacy at both the state and national levels. As a member of PrimeWay’s governmental affairs committee, he supports initiatives that advance financial inclusion and regulatory fairness. He has represented credit unions at the Texas Capitol and in Washington, D.C., engaging with policymakers on issues critical to the movement’s future.
Outside the credit union system, Prillman has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to public service. After more than a decade as a volunteer board member, he was appointed chairman of a Local Selective Service Board in Texas, reflecting his integrity and dedication to civic responsibility.
Prillman is a leader who shows up, follows through, and strengthens both institutions and communities in meaningful ways.
