Four Cornerstone CU Leaders Appointed to National Small CU Advisory Panel
Four credit union leaders from the Cornerstone League region have been selected to serve on America’s Credit Unions’ new Small Credit Union Advisory Panel, a national group created to elevate the voices of small credit unions and strengthen advocacy on the issues that matter most.
More than 100 candidates were nominated for the panel, with 30 leaders chosen to ensure broad representation across geography, asset size, and professional expertise. The panel will help shape policy priorities, identify advocacy opportunities, and provide real-world insight into the challenges facing small credit unions.
The Cornerstone-area leaders appointed to the panel are:
- Michael J. Augustine, President/CEO, Frontier Community Credit Union (Kansas)
- Christopher Moss, President/CEO, Volt Credit Union (Missouri)
- Lily Newfarmer, President/CEO, Tarrant County’s Credit Union (Texas)
- Tammy Passafiume, Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union (Arkansas)
The advisory panel will be led by Greg Mesack, senior vice president of advocacy, and Rich Mohr, small credit union membership director, and will work closely with America’s Credit Unions’ Advocacy Policy Committee.
Cornerstone is proud to see strong regional representation on this national panel and applauds these leaders for lending their voices to the future of small credit union advocacy.
