The Cornerstone League Young Professionals group is dedicated to attracting, engaging, and empowering young talent in the Cornerstone region who can positively impact their communities. The Leaguer regularly features YP Spotlights to help you get to know these up-and-comers. This month, meet Sadie Temple, Shawna Papenthien, and Anissa Hernandez.
Sadie Temple

Sadie Temple is the lead accounting specialist at Rave Financial in Beaumont, Texas, with a decade of experience in the credit union industry. She loves helping people and solving problems, finding it rewarding to see her work make a positive impact.
Temple’s favorite movie is "10 Things I Hate About You," and she’s currently reading “Conversations on Love” by Natasha Lunn. If she could chat with any celebrity, it would be Harry Styles, and she'd ask him to marry
her. When it comes to binge-watching, she’s all about the latest Bravo programming. Cheesecake is her dessert of choice, and her favorite podcast is Watch What Crappens.
Her role model is her mom, whom she admires for being extremely driven and resilient.
Shawna Papenthien

Shawna Papenthien is a learning and development specialist at Texoma Community Credit Union in Wichita Falls, Texas, with 11 years of experience in the credit union industry. She loves the mission-driven, service-foused environment of credit unions, which
aligns with her love language of acts of service.
Papenthien’s favorite movie is "Pride and Prejudice," her comfort movie. She’s currently reading “Love + Work” by Marcus Buckingham and “Built to Move” by Kelly and Juliet Starrett. Most people are
surprised to learn Papenthien is an introvert who has learned to thrive in extroverted environments. Her favorite travel destination is Yellowstone National Park, and if she could have any superpower, it would be the ability to manipulate time.
She’s passionate about supporting Backdoor Theatre in Wichita Falls, a nonprofit theater that enriches the community through the performing arts. Her favorite dessert is brownies, especially corner pieces with caramel.
Anissa Hernandez

Anissa Hernandez is the training coordinator at Allegiance Credit Union in Oklahoma City, with 11 years of experience in the credit union industry. She enjoys meeting new people and hearing their stories.
Hernandez is currently reading “The Silent Patient” by Alex Michaelides and binge-watching “Love is Blind” on Netflix. Her favorite travel destination is the Bahamas, where she saw the bluest water she’s ever encountered. If she could have any superpower, it would be teleportation, so she wouldn’t miss her family and friends living far away.
Hernandez supports The Dragonfly Home in Oklahoma City, which provides vital support to survivors of human trafficking. Her favorite dessert is cheesecake, and she enjoys listening to the Crime Junkies podcast.
