Resource One CU’s Jennifer Grinder Graduates from SCMS

Wed September 22, 2021

Jennifer GrinderResource One Credit Union, serving Dallas and Harris counties, announced that Jennifer Grinder, chief retail officer, graduated from Southwest CUNA Management School Class of 2020 (which was delayed until 2021 due to the pandemic).

Grinder was one of 32 graduates to earn their Southwest CUNA Management School (SCMS) designation. She graduated with top honors, having achieved the Award of Excellence.

The SCMS designation demonstrates the highest level of aptitude in credit union leadership. To earn this recognition, students must complete three years of executive education, including exams, projects, and an oral presentation.

In addition, Grinder was elected as a new board member for the SCMS Alumni Association at its July 28 annual meeting.

“The tools, resources, and networking connections I gained through my SCMS experience will be shared with others to expand their knowledge of the credit union industry and operations,” said Grinder.

Correction:
We previously referred to the Southwest CUNA Management School graduate’s designation as CCUE, which is incorrect. The official credential for graduates of SCMS is SCMS.
