Hurricane Creek Federal Credit Union third-generation member Jessica Simmons recently described the Benton, Arkansas-based credit union as a place that truly cares about its members.

Simmons continued, “I joined HCFCU in 2008, and I love banking where I’m not just a number. Their customer service is second to none, and the loan officers make any buying experience quick and easy.”

Hurricane Creek FCU recently started gathering member testimonials to add a personal touch with the rollout of its new website.

“I know on the outside looking in, it is always nice to see a familiar face from your community who shares their experience,” said Debbie Lawrence, president and CEO at Hurricane Creek FCU. “With everything shifting to online, reviews mean a lot.”

Lawrence added, “I have started doing the majority of my shopping online, and I have learned a lot about the differences between in-store and online purchases. Now that potential members are online shopping, they can now see credit union banking reviews from faces they may know right here in Saline County.”

Lawrence gave the following advice to fellow credit unions about how to collect member stories. “Just ask. I have found that members like to leave reviews, and they enjoy telling their stories to help others.”
