GOTV: Credit Unions Vote and key dates

In advance of the November general elections, Cornerstone League encourages you to visit Credit Unions Vote, a one-stop website for voters. Visitors to the site can confirm or determine if they are registered to vote, see the candidates in races, find out who represents them, and get voter information such as polling places, election rules, and absentee ballots in their states.  

Here are some key dates to remember:

ARKANSAS

Last day to register to vote has passed. Early voting begins Oct. 24, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday. Early voting ends at 5 p.m. on the Monday prior to the Nov. 8 general election.

OKLAHOMA

Last day to register to vote in Oklahoma is Oct. 14. Deadline to request an absentee ballot is 5 p.m. on Oct. 24. Early voting runs Nov. 2–4 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

TEXAS

Last day to register to vote has passed. Early voting begins Oct. 24 and ends Nov. 4. The deadline to file your mail-in ballot application is Oct. 28.
