Celebrate Credit Unions Care Day on June 10

As we celebrate Credit Unions Care Day on June 10*, this is a great time to recognize former Cornerstone League EVP/CFO/CAO Karen Hart and her passion for Cornerstone and the credit union movement.

To honor Hart’s four decades of dedicated service to credit unions in the region, the Cornerstone Foundation launched the Karen Hart Legacy Society upon her retirement. Individuals and credit unions can become part of the Legacy Society by making monetary contributions, thus extending Hart’s legacy beyond the span of her distinguished career.

“I have always taken great pride in everything we do for credit unions,” Hart has said. “I believe in our principles, our philosophy, and the fact that we go above and beyond to serve a movement that gives back. There is no better job.”

The Credit Unions Care program is the perfect opportunity for all of us to come together to ensure tomorrow’s credit union movement is secure for those who follow. Your contribution to the Karen Hart Legacy Society will help sustain the Cornerstone Foundation’s good work for the greater benefit of our regional credit unions.
