Texas Legislature Special Session Begins Today

The special session of the Texas Legislature, called by Gov. Greg Abbott, begins today in Austin. When the regular session ended on May 29, some necessary legislation had not been completed. The governor called the Legislature back into session and gave legislators 20 issues to work on.
