Cornerstone and CUNA File Brief in Support of Credit Union's Motion to Dismiss in ADA Website Lawsuit

Yesterday, Cornerstone Credit Union League, in partnership with the Credit Union National Association, filed an amicus brief supporting a motion to dismiss the frivolous Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) website lawsuit filed against BCM FCU in the northern district of Texas, Dallas Division.

Longtime CU Leader Jerry Deering Passes

Jerry Arnold Deering, a longtime credit union leader with EECU in Fort Worth, passed away Sunday, Feb. 18. He was 89 years old. His funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Arlington where he was a member for 64 years. Visitation is Friday, Feb. 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Wade Funeral Home in Arlington.
