Young Professional of the Year Award

The purpose of the Cornerstone League’s Young Professional of the Year award is to recognize individuals at least 18 years of age and no more than 40 years of age who have demonstrated leadership and a passion for making a difference in the credit union movement and who have engaged in the credit union movement as a young professional at a credit union.

Award recipients are honored at the Young Professionals Conference.

Eligibility

The Young Professional of the Year nominee must be:

  • A credit union employee or volunteer at a Cornerstone League member credit union between the ages of 18 and 40.
  • Registered as YP at the time of nomination
  • Any Cornerstone member credit union or chapter may nominate individuals for this award.
  • Nomination may be made without regard to credit union or chapter boundaries.

Nomination Procedures

Submitting a nomination is a two-step process:

STEP 1: Nominate a young professional. Individual will be notified of their nomination. Individuals may nominate themselves or others.

STEP 2: The nominee will be required to complete the second part of the process to move forward to judging.

For your convenience, you may review the awards criteria before proceeding through the nomination process. The YP of the Year is not an annual award; rather it is presented based on the proven achievements and worthiness of candidates.
