About Deke Alexander

Deke is the founder of CU Evolution and brings 15 years of banking and credit union experience to the owners and members of CU Evolution. Deke began his career in community banking in rural communities in North Texas. He has extensive experience in both consumer and commercial lending, recently serving as Chief Lending Officer for Living In Fulfillment Everyday Federal Credit Union (LiFE FCU). Deke’s experience in credit department oversight, revenue generation, HR management, as well as merger & acquisitions have equipped him to speak to the areas of daily life for a credit union CEO. Deke has a contagious passion for providing credit union CEOs the tools, information, education and platforms to grow their unique culture; increasing their impact of People Helping People. His creativity to not just lend, but provide an overall experience in relationship banking has led him to today. Deke’s primary role is the culture leader for CU Evolution, casting vision and building a top quality team to service a movement within the credit union industry. Deke consults primarily with credit union CEOs, leadership, and Boards of Directors, manages the CUSO’s strategic partnerships, service development, and memberships as well as strategic planning regarding subsidiary development.
